"The job of Northwell Health Foundation is to demonstrate the power of philanthropy in providing opportunity and positive change in society; through philanthropy, our hospitals get the money they need, patients get the care they deserve and researchers receive the funds they require. During my summer at the Foundation I was fortunate enough to rotate with every department and learn the specific roles and jobs within each one. I learned that while each area has its separate purpose, all the departments come together as a team to make a difference in the communities”. Samantha Meisels Foundation Intern
